Variation in incidence of lung cancer in Europe print

Age-standardised incidence rates (World Standard population) of cancers of the lung vary from around 5 cases per 100,000 person-years in countries like Belarus and Spain to 95 cases per 100,000 person-years in Hungary.
Lowest rates for males are observed in Northern Europe and highest in the East, whereas for females lowest rates are observed in Southern and Eastern Europe.
