On May 14-15 2007, a first try-out workshop on Prevent was organised. Participants were the work package leaders and those Eurocadet partners that will lead their own workshop later on in the project. 

The program of the workshop is available on this website, but please be aware that the program of the regional workshops will differ because the aims of this particular workshop were different, namely

• to decide wether Prevent can really be used for Eurocadet
• to decide on the content and kind of participants to the real regional workshops

On the first day, general information on Prevent and some first applications of its use were given.  After that, each work package (except for work package 6 which has not started yet) presented the results obtained so far and further plans to collect the data to be used as input for the program. After lunch in the park (photo) it was time to really start using Prevent. A manual and exercises were prepared and the participants starting playing with the software and discovering the strong and weak points of it.

The second day started with a discussion on the usefulness of Prevent and the contents of the regional workshops to be organised and which participants to invite. Minutes of this discussion can be accessed here . 

In general, participants were positive on the use of Prevent and we are looking forward to the first real regional workshop.
